Mullein Torches

from $10.00

Nearly all parts of this beneficial plant can be utilised - the Mullein flower stem is no exception! For centuries Mullein stalks have been used as a light source and in ceremony; the ancient Greeks and Romans were documented to have dipped the dried stalks in tallow and used as candles and torches for funerary processions, even miners have used Mullein for lighting mine shafts.

In ceremony, worshippers have burnt these torches to thin the veil between worlds to connect with spirits and also as a powerful banishing and protection tool.

Today, Mullein can still be used as an effective torch for light or as a tool in ceremony.

Our Mullein torches are home grown from our Mullein plants, naturally air dried then dipped in 100% natural beeswax and smell amazing! The stem is then bound in jute twine for easy handling.

These torches burn very brightly and steadily with a large golden flame and are perfect for any outdoor ceremonies, cleansing a space or simply on your altar. Mullein torches burn with minimal mildly scented smoke and don't blow out in the wind.
